We roll through life
Our wheels burning, exhaust
Positive, optimistic
Looking forwards
Just rolling along our roads
We think we know where they lead
And sometimes it turns out we're right
But sometimes there's a turn you didn't want to take
A fly on the windscreen
A window that won't open
And a thousand doors shut
A sudden turn in life
Into a cycle
Spinning wheels, going nowhere
Crash-landed in unknown territory
And now that drive's at night
Who knew a window, so transparent
Could make your future black.

Another poem I wrote for my friend's play, hopefully it is okay though it's slightly short.
Up for interpretation this one. :)

wow I loved the way you pictured those kinda moments in life!! It's important to understand that whenever a door (or window in this case) is closed, another one is opened :)
